Retrofit
If
your old, inefficient heating or cooling system is draining
your energy budget, consider a high efficiency replacement.
We can furnish cooling efficiency levels from 13 to 23 SEER
and furnace, boiler levels to 96% efficiency. Additionally,
zoning your system can control your energy usage by regulating
the temperature in the various zoned spaces.

Indoor
Air Quality (IAQ)
Molds
and allergens adversely affect the air we breathe and consequently
our health. These particles become trapped in our homes, which
are built tighter for energy efficiency. Many people also
experience health issues related to dry air during the heating
season. Consider adding one of the many products we offer
to clear the air of particulate matter, resulting in a healthier
work or home environment. These accessories can be installed
directly into the duct distribution system. |
- Electronic
Air Cleaners: Remove up to 99.98% of allergens from filtered
air; trap particles down to .3 microns in size; are up to
100 times more effective than a standard 1” filter.
- Electronic
Recovery Ventilation: Fresh air is brought into the home
while maintaining energy efficiency. The system recovers
up to 80% of the heating and cooling energy from the exchanged
air.
- Ultraviolet
Air Treatment: Kills up to 87% airborne bacteria in the
ductwork and 99% of surface mold and bacteria on the air
conditioning coil.
- Humidification:
Increases comfort in the winter by adding moisture to the
air. The room feels more comfortable at a lower temperature,
adding to your energy savings. Humidity will help to prevent
dry skin and nasal passages. Moister air in your home will
help protect furniture, hardwood floors, and artwork and
will help maintain the quality of musical instruments.

Geothermal
Geothermal
heating and cooling uses the ground energy to heat and cool
a building. There are two methods of geothermal installation:
vertical and horizontal. Vertical geothermal loops require
the drilling of vertical wells, which connect to an underground
manifold. A pumping station circulates the water to the ground.
Horizontal loops are a less expensive alternative to the vertical
loops as they require about six feet of depth to cover the
piping system. In this application, more of the ground’s
surface is disturbed due to the additional length of piping
required to obtain the necessary cooling and heating requirements.

Radiant
Radiant
heat can be installed under a variety of flooring materials
including wood, carpet or ceramic tile. It can also be embedded
in a concrete slab during construction. Most radiant heat
requires a boiler, water heater, or geothermal system as its
source. An alternative to this system is the electric radiant
mat.
